Padel Lounge Aarhus has four doubles courts and one singles court. Which one you choose depends on how many of you there are \u2014 but there are three more things worth knowing before you book.<\/p>\n

In a nutshell<\/h2>\n

If there are four of you, book a doubles court. If there are two of you, you have a choice: the singles court is cheaper per court, but as there are only two of you to share it, the price per person works out higher. On the other hand, you\u2019ll have the whole court to yourselves and the game will be faster.<\/p>\n

The pattern is the same across the board: a singles court is the cheapest per court, whilst a doubles court is the cheapest per person. The biggest difference is during prime time from Monday to Thursday, when a singles court costs 130 kr less per hour than a doubles court.<\/p>\n

Three things that determine the choice<\/h2>\n

1. Membership does not cover the singles court<\/h3>\n

That\u2019s the most important one. Memberships at Aarhus give you access to the doubles courts, not the singles court. If you\u2019re a member and book the singles court, you\u2019ll have to pay the court hire fee on top. If you play a lot of singles, coins are therefore a better option than a membership \u2014 they\u2019re valid on all courts and at all times.<\/p>\n

2. There is only one singles court<\/h3>\n

Four doubles courts versus one singles court. If you want to play a singles match at a popular time, you\u2019ll need to book it well in advance compared to the doubles courts.<\/p>\n

3. The game isn\u2019t the same<\/h3>\n

A singles court is narrower. You each cover more of the court, there\u2019s further to run, and the rallies are faster. Two people on a doubles court is more enjoyable; two people on a singles court is harder on the legs.<\/p>\n

When does the singles\u2019 track make the most sense?<\/h2>\n

When there are exactly two of you and you fancy an intense game. And especially from Monday to Thursday between 4.00 pm and 10.00 pm, when a doubles court costs 298 kr. and a singles court 168 kr. If there are two of you, you pay 84 kr. each on the singles court, compared to 149 kr. each if you hire a doubles court for yourselves. If, on the other hand, you can find two more people, the doubles court works out cheapest per person \u2014 74.50 kr.<\/p>\n

When does a doubles court make the most sense?<\/h2>\n

When there are four of you, or when you\u2019d like to be able to play as a group of four. At 44.50 kr. per person during the day, this is the cheapest way to play padel in Aarhus. Practical information<\/h2>\n

All five courts are indoors with a ceiling height of 11 metres. The minimum booking is 60 minutes, and the centre is open every day from 05:00 to 24:00.
