What is the Lunar League?

The Lunar League is a sports league that offers the opportunity to participate in competitive team matches with a minimum of six players on each team. However, for a more robust team structure, it is recommended that the team consists of at least eight players to avoid being too vulnerable to injury, illness or other unforeseen cancellations.

A typical team match in the Lunar League consists of two series of three matches each against another team that also belongs to the same division. It's worth noting that after the first three matches, the team composition must be changed so that the next three matches are not identical to the first. This makes for a dynamic and exciting competition as teams have to adapt and possibly develop new strategies to face different opponents.

The distance between teams will depend on the number of registered teams and as a result, teams will be divided by region and then into a number of divisions. There are no restrictions on how a team in the Lunar League can be composed, as it can be made up of different types of groups. It can be a family team, a company team, a group of old soldier buddies, an all-female team, an all-male team or a mixed team. It is also possible for young people to play alongside veterans, creating an inclusive and diverse dynamic in the league.

The Lunar League embraces players of all levels, meaning that both recreational, talented and elite players can participate. This creates a unique and enriching experience where all players have the opportunity to challenge themselves, improve their skills and enjoy competition in a fun and supportive environment.

With a focus on team competition and a wide range of participation options, the Lunar League provides a platform for people to develop their love of the sport, collaborate with teammates and create strong bonds with other players within their region. It's a league that celebrates diversity while promoting fair play and respect for all participants, making it an engaging and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
